London party

A London house that looks like a private luxury hotel

Every luxury hotel makes a memorable first impression with a comfortable, chic entrance, and that was one of the things guests wanted Ashby to offer. This simple yet elegant space sets the tone for the whole apartment. The entrance hall leads to two separate bedrooms for guests and family. The guest area includes a visually united living-dining-kitchen area and a well-appointed powder room. The family wing has three bedrooms: the master bedroom, the children’s bedroom and the guest bedroom with en-suite bathrooms.

Apartment in London: Living Room

The living room sofa and coffee table are both from SM London, the wall lamps from Hudson Valley Lighting, the side tables from RV Astley and the vase from Micucci Interiors. The rug is ‘Ocean’ from Riviere rugs

The living room is a warm and inviting space. It includes a white L-shaped sofa, artwork by Bianca Smith, a double-sided fireplace, and carefully selected light fixtures and decorative accessories. Two comfortable armchairs near the windows form additional seats. “Although the living room looks quite luxurious, it is also very practical. The storage is well hidden and all the upholstery and wallpaper is easy to clean. As both guests are avid cooks, they have personally checked all the fabric swatches with the spices they use. I’m happy to say that even the white sofa fabric survived the test. All other surfaces and carpets were also treated with stain repellents,” adds Olga.

The armchairs, leather cushions and coffee table in the lounge area are from Simpsons and the contemporary floor lamp is from Bella Figura
