A sunny fusion of cricket, music and food is coming to Brixton. Afrobeats and brunch will welcome the stars of Oval Invincibles to their Rooftop party all day at The Prince of Wales on Brixton Road on Sunday 31 July.
The female and male players of the Invincibles – the South London team in the new action-packed and unmissable 100-Ball Cricket Tournament, the hundred – will bring together more than 700 music lovers during the event.
The Invincibles are renowned for their epic skills on the cricket pitch. This will be the opportunity for them to show off their hidden talents in the DJ booth and on the dance floor, as well as meet local fans just a stone’s throw from their home stadium, the Kia Oval.
Players will be there to share in the summer vibes on two open-air rooftop levels at the Prince of Wales. Signature DJs will be playing the best Afrobeats from across the decades, while adding a bit of RnB, hip-hop, and island vibes to the mix. Resident hosts will provide plenty of entertainment themselves, as well as dance parties and summer games like giant Jenga and virtual reality cricket. African-inspired food and drink will keep revelers refreshed and satisfied throughout the afternoon and into the evening.
To celebrate the collaboration between Afrobeats n Brunch and Oval Invincibles, there will also be the chance to win fantastic prizes including tickets to the team’s home games, VIP cricket experiences and official team merchandise. from New Balance and New Era.
The event is the perfect warm-up to the start of Oval Invincibles’ campaign in The Hundred. Match days at the Kia Oval fuse world-class cricket with musical performances and must-do activities for families around the world to take entertainment to the next level.
All four Invincibles home games will feature live performances from selected artists in conjunction with BBC Music Introducing to connect sports fans with new and established artists. Tamera, LLEO and Bambi Bains will all be on stage at the Kia Oval in August.

Oval Invincibles will provide fans with cutting-edge entertainment at the Kia Oval on four dates in August. The men’s team take on local rivals, London Spirit, on Thursday 4e August, before the men’s and women’s doubles on Thursday 11e August (Northern Superchargers), Sunday 14e August (Southern Brave) and Tuesday 23rd August (Birmingham Phoenix).
