Chase & Status to headline London’s new Electric City festival

Chase & Status have been announced as headliners for London’s new Electric City festival.

The inaugural event will take place on Clapham Common in the capital on August 28 and will see the duo play their only live date in London in 2022.

Chase & Status will perform their brand new live show during their headlining show in Electric City, with artists like Headie One, Andy C and Jme (presenting “Grime MC FM”) also performing during the day.

Pre-sale tickets will be available for purchase February 3 at 10 a.m. by registering here, while the general sale is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. the same day.

Chase & Status will also perform at the Parklife festival in Manchester this summer.

The duo shares the bill with Tyler, the Creator, 50 Cent, Megan Thee Stallion, Lewis Capaldi, Bicep, Loyle Carner, Jamie xx, Arlo Parks, Headie One, Central Cee, Fred Again…, ArrDee, Caroline Polachek, Tom Misch and Pink Pantheress.

Bad Boy Chiller Crew, India Jordan, Four Tet, Jessie Ware, Enny, Nina Kraviz, Mahalia, Carl Cox and Tems are also on the program at Parklife 2022. BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra will also broadcast from the festival.

Chase & Status’ latest studio album, “RTRN II Jungle”, was released in May 2019.

Last year, the duo collaborated with BackRoad Gee to cover Metallica’s “Wherever I May Roam” as part of the band’s “The Metallica Blacklist” album.
