Coach opens ‘Tomorrow’s Vintage’ pop-up store at London’s Spitafields Market

New York fashion brand Coachbest known for its quality leather bags and accessories, has opened its very first pop-up concept store in London, called ‘Tomorrow’s Vintage’.

The store, which will run until 16 January 2023 at 4 Market Street – part of east London’s Spitafields market – is a celebration of the Coach ‘(Re)Loved’ scheme, which is described as ‘an ecosystem circular for renovating, reinventing and recycling pre-loved products”.

The immersive in-store experience aims to bring the four unique pillars of Coach ‘(Re)Loved’ – reworked, vintage, restored and remade – to life through bespoke events and activations.

The store has a curated vintage space with upcycled and repurposed furniture made by local designers, where bags from Coach’s archive collection will be on display, including vintage styles originally created by the American designer of Bonnie Cashin women’s clothing, such as the ‘Dinky’, ‘Saddle’ and ‘Cashin Carry’.

In-store activations will include leathercraft and personalization workshops, as well as an “In Conversation With” series, where Coach will invite guests to discuss a wide range of sustainability topics, including vintage, circularity, thrift and upcycling.

Visitors can also benefit from a range of services at the “Coach Craftsmanship Bar”, such as leather care to extend the life of their Coach bag, monogramming services and personalization options including vintage patches .

Local artists will also be on hand to personalize leather goods with embroidery, and customers will be able to take advantage of complimentary services with any purchase.

“Tomorrow’s Vintage” is designed to tell the story of Coach’s 80+ year legacy of “making products to be worn, loved and passed down through generations”.
