London’s new Wide Awake festival kicks off in September

Awake The festival has announced that it will debut in September, after the event’s inaugural 2020 year was forced to cancel due to COVID-19 restrictions.

It will now take place on September 3, 2021 at Brockwell Park in London, with tickets starting at £ 29.50 on sale now.

The range includes noon black, Daniel Avery, Tinariwen, dream woman (Photo), Boy Harsher, Dr Rubinstein, A Certain Ratio, Crack Cloud, Erol Alkan, Lena Willikens, The Mauskovic Dance Band, Scalping, Songhoy Blues and Tropical fuck storm, with other names to be announced.

A new one-day event, Wide Awake is the brainchild of some of the original founders of Field Day and the creators of London sites MOTH Club, The Shacklewell Arms, The Waiting Room and Peckham Audio.
