Love Island finalists return to UK at London Stansted

The LOVE Island finalists landed at an Essex airport fresh from their eight-week stint on the ITV reality show.

All the couples who made the final were seen at Stansted Airport on Wednesday after departing sunny Mallorca.

Love Island winners Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Culculoglu shared a kiss as they landed in the UK after the ITV2 dating show finale.

The couple posed for the cameras as they left Stansted Airport together after arriving from Mallorca on Wednesday.

Ekin-Su, dressed in a denim jacket and leather pants, received a bouquet of flowers as she arrived with Italian business owner Davide, who wore a gray hoodie and jeans.

Gemma and Luca were greeted by their family as they exited the terminal. Gemma also presented a bouquet of white flowers.

Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page screamed and ran with open arms towards the party waiting to meet her.

In a twist, ITV this year dropped the option for one of the winning couples to steal all the prize money for themselves.

Ekin-Su and partner Davide were crowned the winners of Monday’s live final.

The Turkish actress from Essex, 27, and the Italian business owner, also 27, won viewers over with their feisty yet passionate relationship that spanned most of the series.

Upon hearing that they had won, Ekin-Su burst into tears as Davide gasped and said “I can’t believe it” before embracing their fellow finalists.

Laura Whitmore hosted the final live from the garden of the Mallorcan villa on the ITV2 show as an enthusiastic audience looked on.

The winning pair were also congratulated on their victory by last year’s winners Millie Court and Liam Reardon.

Millie, also from Essex, said on Instagram: “Congratulations to the beautiful couple. My absolute pleasure to virtually hand over the crown to the well-deserved winners. Love Island 2022 done and done.

Reardon added: “Massive congratulations to these two and all the finalists, it’s all been smashed. Best feeling go. Enjoy the celebrations.
