Netflix gets an exhibition at the Design Museum in London

Netflix will join iconic names such as Stanley Kubrick, Christian Louboutin and Ferrari with a dedicated exhibition at the Design Museum in London.

The exhibition, which will launch this summer, will celebrate Netflix’s tenth anniversary since its launch in the UK

The exact launch date of the exhibition has not yet been confirmed.

While details of the exhibit are currently being kept under wraps – including which shows might be highlighted and whether items such as props and costumes might be on display – the display will highlight the focus by the company on storytelling.

Netflix has also promised visitors to the museum they’ll check out some “fan favourites” – although which popular shows from the streamer might be included have yet to be revealed.

The Exhibit is the latest example of Netflix bringing the streaming experience off the screen and into real life. In addition to 2020’s “Stranger Things” experience in Los Angeles, an actual “Bridgerton” ball with the launch of Secret Cinema next month, and an upcoming experiential “Money Heist” world tour, Netflix recently hosted an in-person storytelling festival. in London, which included talks and panels with creatives, executives and talent as well as a limited number of props and costumes on display.
