LONDON: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif arrived in London on Saturday where he will meet PML-N chairman Nawaz Sharif and former finance minister Ishaq Dar, sources said Geo News.
The Prime Minister will return to Pakistan on September 25 (tomorrow).
Prime Minister Shahbaz flew to London from New York after addressing the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly the day before.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb. While in London, the Prime Minister would virtually chair a meeting to review the post-flood situation in Pakistan.
The Prime Minister would hold an important meeting with the leader of his party in the British capital during which the two leaders will discuss the strategies of the government in place regarding the current situation in Pakistan.
The agenda of the meeting also includes a discussion on how to handle the long march of PTI Chairman Imran Khan while decisions are also expected to be made regarding the end of the Punjab government.
The two leaders will also make policy decisions regarding the conduct of elections next year.
The meeting between the Sharif brothers will further include a discussion on ensuring that the cases against the PTI leader will be promptly resolved.
