Ryan Reynolds to headline Just for Laughs at London Comedy Fest – The Hollywood Reporter

Ryan Reynolds will headline the first Just for Laughs comedy festival in London.

Just for Laughs London, which runs from March 2-5, 2023, will see Reynolds take part in a casual chat about his career as a Hollywood actor, producer and co-owner of British football club Wrexham, with Deadpool 2 co-star Rob Delaney moderating.

As Just for Laughs crosses the pond in partnership with AEG, the Montreal-based laughter festival will showcase its comedy club and arena shows and celebrity conversations and panel format. The four-day event will feature British TV host Graham Norton and The Duchess creator Katherine Ryan hosts gala shows and Richard Curtis, co-founder of Red Nose Day, hosts his own showcase of comedic talent.

Managed by a consortium led by CIM and Howie Mandel, Just For Laughs typically hosts global stand-up talent that was partly discovered over the years at the Montreal Comedy Festival as talent scouts and Hollywood executives sought out comics to appear in shows. sitcoms, movies, or TV game shows. Just for Laughs has also taken its comedy festival concept to Toronto, Vancouver and Austin in North America and Sydney in Australia. At the same time, key to the success of the comedy festival’s talent rosters have been British comedians like Jimmy Carr, Eddie Izzard, Tommy Tiernan, Nish Kumar and Sarah Millican.
