Arsenal player ratings

Tottenham 3-0 Arsenal – Player Ratings – Part One.

The Gunners were dealt a blow in their race to Champions League qualification as Spurs went wild with a one-man advantage.

Aaron Ramsdale – 7/10

He could do nothing against the penalty, facing one of the best 12-yard takers in world football.

He also couldn’t be blamed for the other two goals with the mess ahead of him, and made some decent saves to deny Emerson and Kane.

Cedric Soares – 4/10

Gave away the penalty with a push on Son in the box that was unnecessary. I tried to catch up with some stunning runs to keep up with Kane.

Yet it was this penalty that triggered Arsenal’s capitulation.

Rob holding 1/10

Getting into a few fights with Son Heung-min and his ego of wanting to knock Spurs down in front of the ball earned him an unnecessary early yellow card.

He then completely lost the plot after an unnecessary collision with the ball with Son which earned him a red card in the 34th minute.

Gabriel 5/10

Hardly Arsenal’s worst defender of the night, but he was taken aback a few times and let Harry Kane nutmeg more than once.

Ended his evening on a sour note after hobbling with injury.

Takehrio Tomiyasu6/10

Forced to play in an unnatural left-back role with Kieran Tierney missing.

He did little harm and replaced the centre-back after Rob Holding’s red card.
