Secretsundaze celebrates 20 years with a series of London parties

Secretsundaze have announced a series of parties across London to celebrate the party’s 20th anniversary.

Today (January 20), the promoter and label revealed the first five events in a year-long series titled 20 Years of Secretsundaze. Launching at Fabric on January 30 with an all-day set, the following events will take place at Color Factory, Venue MOT, Oval Space and multiple Hackney Wick locations, with more to be announced later in the year.

Co-founders and residents Giles Smith and James Priestley will host each evening alongside guests such as Jeremy Underground, Paramida, Galcher Lustwerk, Ash Lauryn, Jamie Tiller, Shy One and many more.

Speaking on Secretsundaze’s anniversary, James Priestley said: “We feel very lucky to have been able to do what we love for so long and truly wouldn’t be here without the support of our amazing community, a constant source of support. inspiration and strength.

“While it’s great to take stock of reaching the 20-year milestone, we’re even more excited about what the future holds and the different directions we plan to take. Long live Sundaze!”

The party started when founders James and Giles started throwing parties for friends. Over the past two decades he has staged events in London’s most famous venues, established a residency in Barcelona and performed at international festivals.

In 2020 the party launched its Dance 2 Sustain initiative which takes action on climate change by implementing a £1 ‘green tax’ on tickets, reusable plastic cups at events and negotiating sustainable transport for the artists.
