And CEO Sean Oshinaike said, “I feel thrilled and very grateful. All of this shows that our hard work and perseverance over the past three years has been worth it.

“I think it’s really important to showcase the work we’re doing, as well as all the other shortlisted organizations, because we’ve all been actively working to get families active in our different communities and in London as a whole.

“I think we need this community aspect more than ever, especially because of Covid – at Street Tag we have been able to offer Covid rehabilitation.

“We just kept going because we love it and to be recognized it means that we are doing something right and that there is something more to come.”

Over the past five years, the annual London Sport Awards, in association with the City of London Corporation, have become the largest celebration of physical activity and community and community sport in the city.

And this year’s flagship event once again recognized, celebrated and shed light on the stories of incredible individuals, groups and organizations for their outstanding work in the capital, helping Londoners of all ages and all. horizons to be physically active.

Ben Cole, Head of Strategic Projects and Future Space at Loughborough University London, one of the Tech and Digital Award sponsors, said: “One of my favorite days of the year over the past year has been the jury day.

“It was a wonderful reminder of what sport brings us, giving us something to do during the pandemic and I think, very importantly, the hopeful stories of almost all of the winners – it was just an amazing day.

“I think with Street Tag we were seeing technology that has finally found its way. “Unfortunately, during the Covid pandemic we all turned to apps and online to be active and get out and about and Street Tag was just that perfect time to reunite families and get some exercise.”
