The London Irish are having their annual St. Patrick’s Day party on Saturday and want you to come

The London Irish hold their annual St Patrick’s Day party on Saturday at the Community Stadium in Brentford.

The Exiles will face Northampton in the Gallagher Premiership and they would like you to enjoy the celebration of the day.

Here are some of the details of the day that can be found on the London Irish website


  • The London Irish Community team hold their St Patrick’s Day festival at Gunnersbury Park, with 74 U7-U10 children’s teams from local clubs taking part. If you’re in the area early, head to the road and cheer on the youngsters!
  • Bars, food stands and entertainment outside the stadium will open at 12 p.m., with doors opening at 1 p.m. Please note – there is no readmission. Once fans have entered the stadium through the turnstiles, they cannot exit and re-enter.
  • The new London Irish Fan Store will be open from 9.30am, selling a wide range of clothing and merchandise. The store is located on Stile Hall Parade (opposite the Leisure Center), about a minute’s walk from the stadium.
  • The supporters’ village outside the stadium will be divided into three locations: the west zone, the east zone and the activity zone. In addition to the supporters’ village outside the stadium, this year we are bringing the party inside the stadium! Fans can sit down and enjoy live music and in-bowl entertainment while the kick-off is being prepared. Here’s what you can expect in each area:


  • Tickets are on sale from £25 for adults and £10 for children – book online here.
  • A group package is available in the West Stand, offering four tickets for just £50!

  • All ticket prices increase by £3 on match day.
  • Match tickets can be emailed as PDF files that can be printed or viewed on your phone, or accessed through the London Irish app. Instructions for using the app are available here.

West sector:

  • 301 Bar – run by Topsy Ojo and Conor Gilsenan, with appearances from London Irish Legends!

In the bowl:

  • Open from 1 p.m.
  • The Reels will perform live in the bowl from 1-2 p.m. The Reels take traditional Irish classics and give them a modern twist – guaranteed to get you dancing!
  • The London Irish Community Choir will perform Fields of Athenry
  • T-shirts will be fired into the crowd by t-shirt cannons – see if you can catch one!
  • Fitzy’s Kitchen and Four Provinces Bar will serve a range of food and beverages in the halls, including Guinness, Grolsch, wine, pies, burgers, sweets and more. Please note that Brentford Community Stadium is a cashless stadium and only contactless payments will be accepted.


  • At half-time, fans will be treated to a performance by the brilliant Scoil Rince Céim Óir Irish Dancers
  • Our halftime competition – Kick Your Way To Cayman – will take place, and this time there will be a guaranteed winner! That’s right, someone will definitely win a trip to the Cayman Islands! If you want it to be you, click here to apply to participate.
  • Please note that Brentford Community Stadium is a non-smoking stadium. Fans will not be readmitted if they leave the floor to smoke.


  • After the full-time whistle, BibleCode Sundays will take the stage and perform live in the bowl until 7 p.m.
  • The stadium lobby bars will remain open until 7 p.m.
  • The supporters’ village outside the stadium in the East and West zones will be open until 7 p.m. The Activity Zone is only open before the game.
  • The Dugout bar will remain open until 8 p.m. The Dugout Bar is accessible via Gate B.

  • If you plan to spend the night near the stadium, the Clayton Hotel Chiswick, official hotel partner of the London Irish, is a ten-minute walk from the stadium and offers spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi, a fitness room form and a bar-restaurant on site.   • For something a little more special, our official restaurant partner, Gaucho, has a restaurant just down the street in Richmond.   • Parking is available by reservation with the Club’s parking partner, EST, at Chiswick Business Park (£15) or at the Citroen site on Capital Interchange Way (£20). Parking must be reserved in advance by clicking here.
  • If you are traveling by car from the Reading area, please note that the M4 will be closed eastbound between junctions 8/9 (Maidenhead) and 6 (Slough-Windsor).
  • If you are traveling by train, the South Western Railway lines in the Staines will be closed all weekend due to maintenance work. Click here for other affected routes.
