The monarch, 95, has been doing light chores since spending a night in the hospital two months ago.

And this week, she cut her annual pre-Christmas party for 50 family members amid Covid fears.

But last week the Queen – whose husband Prince Philip died aged 99 in April – was seen in the capital without a cane.

An onlooker said yesterday: ‘Everyone has been worried sick about the Queen after she went to the hospital.

“So it was great that she was out and on her feet and looking back at her best. Hopefully being up in London is a sign that we will see her again for engagements soon.

“It’s such a boost before Christmas when everyone is so depressed right now.”

Her Majesty has been in Windsor Castle for one night at King Edward VII Hospital in West London on October 20.

A two-day trip to Northern Ireland to celebrate its 100th anniversary was canceled hours earlier.

She stayed the night for “preliminary inquiries” but palace sources did not disclose further details.

The Queen had also been pictured on two engagements with a walking stick that aides said for comfort.

In October, she canceled a trip to the COP26 climate conference in Glasgow and instead sent a recorded message to world leaders.

Then a sprained back on Remembrance Sunday morning in November caused him to miss the commemorations.

The Queen’s arrangements for a Christmas at Sandringham are also under consideration, it is understood.

She will celebrate her 70th birthday on the throne next year. A spokesperson declined to comment.
