London festival

The Taste of London festival is back this summer

It’s almost festival season, and to get you started, here’s Taste of London. London’s most exciting and beloved restaurants will all be heading to Regent’s Park in June to celebrate all things foodie. With more than 120 dishes to choose from, there will certainly be something to delight your taste buds.

Fan favorites returning this year include award-winning Sri Lankan restaurant Hoppers, delicious dim sum haunt Dumplings Legend and elegant Italian restaurant Sartoria on Savile Row. The Italian triumvirate of Big Mamma, Gloria, Ave Mario and Circolo Popolare, will be on hand to help with those Instagram-worthy food shots. There are also some exciting festival debuts this year. Marylebone’s Junsei will serve authentic Japanese yakitori, Louis Ashok’s all-new technique will be on hand to dazzle, and Time Out pal James Cochran will bring his Jamaican Buttermilk Chicken Around the Cluck.

This festival isn’t just about food stalls, there’s so much more to dig into. Compete with miniature golf at Taste Tee or brush up on your cooking skills at Taste Skillery where you can learn how to make fresh pasta and other useful kitchen tricks. Continue the foodie fun at Diners Club International’s Cookery School and learn how to prepare London’s best dishes (all with a focus on food waste and sustainability). Festivals can also be educational, you know.

You can also take your love of food to the next level with the VIP ticket option. Holders will enjoy exclusive access to the Diners Club VIP Lounge, an exclusive area where all sorts of extras are on offer. Intimate masterclasses, garden games, artisan tasting sessions, and even fast-track access to all Taste Fire Pit barbecue dishes.

If all of this makes you thirsty, you can head to Champagne Laurent Perrier Club House for a glass of their Cuvée Rosé. Or if the bubbles don’t excite you (not sure why they wouldn’t), then spirit giants Patrón and Gray Goose serve up fancy cocktails to really get the party started.

Regent’s Park, June 15-19, tickets available now from £24
