Hugo Lloris gave Arsenal the North London derby lead at the Emirates just minutes into the second half of the North London derby.
Tottenham started the second half the same way they opened the game, on the back foot and failing to maintain control of the ball, prompting the Gunners to press on.
Lloris was to blame for Arsenal’s second when he fended off a cross and saw the ball returned by Romero pass through his arms and allowed Gabriel Jesus to head home to lead 2-1.
It may be disjointed but a goal is a goal…

Mistakes of this nature, especially in a North London derby by such an experienced goalkeeper, are unforgivable. Lloris has done well to iron out such incidents from his game over the past two years, but this one could really cost his team dearly.
