The route will use the airline’s 787-9 planes offering 31 Premium Class seats, 35 Premium seats, and 192 Economy Delight, Classic and Light seats.
For those who are also looking for a vacation, Virgin Atlantic Holidays will be launching a portfolio of vacations in Austin and throughout Texas, including hotels and driving vacations.
Passengers who need to connect can do so with Delta Air Lines (providing connectivity to Seattle, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Detroit, Minneapolis, Cincinnati, Atlanta, Raleigh Durham, JFK). Those due to travel to Austin earlier than Virgin Atlantic’s launch date can use connections with KLM, which is launching a three-weekly service from Amsterdam to Austin on March 28, 2022.

Updated Flexible Booking Policy allows Virgin Atlantic customers re-booking a vacation or flight only for travel through December 31, 2022, to make as many changes as needed to their travel dates, origin or their destination, the modification costs being eliminated as well as a free name change.
